What are double coupons?
Some grocery stores will "double" manufacturer coupons. So a 50 cent off coupon becomes $1 off. The doubling is performed automatically when the coupon is scanned at checkout. Coupon doubling enables you to get great deals, including getting items literally for free.
Each store will have a limit up to what they double. The standard is usually 50 cents although doubling up to a dollar is becoming more common. First try to find stores in your area that double coupons up to $1. Then try to match your coupons with sales and in no time you'll be getting items for pennies or free!
Occasionally a manufacturer coupon will specifically say do not double. It's been our experience that often the coupon will double anyway at the register.
